What’s Been Said About Excelsa?

A few testimonials about the Champagne of Coffee:

I always enjoy exploring new coffee varieties, flavors, and roasting techniques, so I was excited to try Excelsa coffee since I had no prior experience with it. The beans are smaller than what I’m accustomed to with Arabica or Robusta, resembling the size and shape of peaberry beans. They were roasted beautifully, with consistent quality, minimal chaff, and an inviting aroma.I prepared the coffee the same way I do with my usual beans using a drip coffee maker: 32 ounces of water and 54 grams of beans ground in a burr grinder. The result was fantastic. The first thing that stood out was the low acidity and lack of bitterness, followed by a balanced, slightly fruity flavor profile. It was impressively smooth, and my wife really enjoyed it as well.I would highly recommend this coffee to anyone seeking a unique and less bitter option. It’s a great choice for those who find traditional coffee too intense. I’m excited to explore more Excelsa coffee from different regions after doing a bit more research.

I’ll admit, I’m a coffee enthusiast who has sampled many different beans, but Excelsa coffee truly surprised me with its distinct character. It offers a unique experience that stands out from the usual options. This isn’t your typical cup of coffee. It has a beautifully complex flavor profile, with bright acidity and subtle fruity notes—almost like berries—that I didn’t anticipate. What’s remarkable is how balanced it is, much like a fine wine, where every sip brings out a new layer of flavor.I prefer my coffee black, and Excelsa is perfect for that. It’s incredibly smooth, with no trace of bitterness, making it the kind of coffee you take your time to enjoy rather than drink quickly for the caffeine. If you’re looking to explore something different and exceptional, I can’t recommend Excelsa coffee enough. It might just become a new favorite in your collection.

“I’ve never seen a pour bloom like this one did, it blew my mind! Absolutely beautiful. The smell is so unique -I can’t place it. Strong cherry maybe? Woodsy? I don’t know. But the finish is so nice, not bitter at all. I definitely like a dark roast vibe but with a medium body. It is really throwing me for a loop here.”
